The anointed one, Barack Obama, will announce his national security team tomorrow, taking advantage of the heightened anxiety as a result of the Mumbai terrorist attacks.  This is what liberals do – they create a scare or piggyback on an existing scare and then offer a broke-ass solution that is supposed to make Americans feel comfortable.

I want to take a minute to shout-out another great conservative website:   proudconservative.com.  The entire site is excellent but if I had only a few minutes to spare, I’d head over to both the 9/11 section and the Freedom Concerts section.  An excerpt from the freedom concert writeup from 2007:

We headed back into the park and over to the book signing area.  We got in line and met and spoke briefly to Ann Coulter.  She was so nice and sweet to everyone.  I didn’t get the chance to meet her last year, so I was thrilled to meet her this year.  She commented, “Those shirts are great!  I love it.” about my “Liberalism is the philosophy of the stupid” and Mike’s “Liberals are friggin idiots” shirt.  I think I had a grin from ear to ear for the rest of the day on that quote alone!  My friend Darlene asked if Ann would sign her arm and Ann thought that was great.  She said, “I feel like a rock star.”   She then signed the shirt I am auctioning off.
